Electronic power units

MORIS can provide an electronically controlled valve, with flows up to 650 l/min, on the elevator power units. This valve can grant the following advantages:

• the oil flow is electronically regulated, via a closed-loop control: the achieved ride comfort is as smooth as a VVVF elevator.
• the durations of floor-to-floor ride, acceleration and deceleration are independent of the weight in car or of the oil temperature, thanks to the closed loop control.
• installation, commissioning and management times are reduced, thanks to the two mechanical regulations only. All other ride parameters may be modified with a separate hand-terminal.
• the electronically controlled valve increases the overall efficiency by reducing the internal friction losses.
• thanks to the optimization of ride cycles under unfavorable oil conditions, considerable energy savings (up to 30% on yearly basis) may be achieved.
